I have the same skin more on oily side. I had tried this banana mask after so much fuzz but seriously didn't work on my skin. I felt nothing even after 2 application.

If your skin is sensitive than avoid any kind of DIY's that involve cinnamon.
I have fully converted all my skin care products from store bought to making my own... DIY toner, moisturizer, primers, lip sticks, lip balm, blemish fighter, acne lotion etc.work much better.. cost a lot less... and don't do anything to harm the skin.
Cinnamon does not harm but it can irritate skin very easily, you should research your ingredients to make sure none will irritate your skin.
In specific, look up DIY treatments made especially for sensitive oily skin, or for skin with eczema or rosacea since both are super sensitive. Most DIY treatments are gentle enough that people suffering with both don't have any issues with it.
And remember to not over do washing your skin... you must wash your skin in a circular motion and count 10 Mississippi's. Then, when you remove the soap don't touch it... allow the water to remove it on it's own.
A lot of masks don't work too well, especially for oily skin. But there are other products you can make that will help it tremendously.
If you have any questions feel free to ask me... my family cannot afford a dermatologist so I had to spend hours researching and learning and confirming with a doctor anytime I had a visit for something else.

Wow thank you so much I've tried certain products treatments and masks and they gave me a chemical burn so before I tried anything new I wanted to get some better information.

I've already tried that. The banana as a cream. It is a no. It didn't work, it even worsen it. I have the same skin type as yours. Try using lemon in washing your face after using honey as a mask. :)

I have the same type of skin and I swear by Burt's Bees products. They use natural ingredients that don't dry out your skin. My skin has been nearly perfect since I have started using their products.
