I've got my ear stretched, I did it when I was 17 and have never once regretted it.

I prefer the smaller ones, but I don't mind them at all. When I see guys wearing them, I find it pretty attractive. lol.

I love, love, love it!! My ears are stretched. Wouldn't change it for the world. And somewhere down the line when I'm in my 80's, I'm probably going to have cotton candy pink hair and I'll be the coolest f'n granny on the block. Just sayin'

Not my thing either, but ppl own their own bodies and can decorate them as they want. I don't judge.

Just to clarify comments about them not shrinking back but that's untrue as I had my lobes stretched to 24mm and they healed back to the extent where I can wear normal earrings within 2 weeks of having them out.

Words like nasty and disgusting are so wrong when talking about someones choice. I think it's beautiful. I've stretched mine twice. The first time to almost and inch and they went almost fully back down. This time I'm at 9/16 and plan on going bigger. If you're doing it right, it actually doesn't hurt at all. People hate on things they don't understand. You might as well say bleached hair or boob jobs are disgusting. Those are also forms of body mods, just more accepted for some reason.

Also, they're not called 'gauges'. They're called stretched lobes. A gauge is a form of measurement. What gauge are your ears, that's saying it correctly. Not, I love your gauges. Makes no sense. Sorry but, that drives me crazy! People also call the jewelry gauges, which is also SO wrong. The jewelry has all different names..plugs, tunnels, tapers...to name a few. That is all.
