I bought a knock off one as well and it sucked! I used it damp and even still it did nothing but suck up my $46 Dior foundation!! I also had to use a brush after. So not worth it. I'll stick to brushes.

You have to use the real one. its worth the money, none of the dupes work at all. I bought two 5 dollar ones, this one included, threw them both away and bought the real one... love!

You should try this one on ebay. Its another fake but I think it works great. It is more like the real beauty blender. I bought a bunch.

I'm telling you there's definitely a secret ingredient in the formulation of the beauty blender.. it literally has no comparison!! I'd splurge and get the real one! I actually got 2/$20 at IMATS NY!

Hi Stefani, did you happen to get that one at CVS? I bought one just like that awhile back and it's best used just for the pat pressed in my opinion because it's a firm sponge even when wet,I bought another brand at TJ Max for $3 that is a dupe for the True Beauty Blender same shape and texture to help pat and roll the foundation flat after I applied my foundation with my brush of choosing for a look. Now I know it's claimed to give an airbrush finish but after using airbrush makeup application I can't say it's comparable to be truthful but it does help finish up the look with no streaks.:)

I agree with alma. I also bought two from marshalls. I've only used one of them so far and I used it wet n it did a decent job.. I have no complaints. you may have to play around with the method of application.
