I recently started using revlon's just bitten lip balm stain and I really like it but I've noticed that after a few hours I'm left with a darker line around the edges of my lips where it's stained more than the inside. Do you guys now anything that would help this? I know I could just reapply it regularly but I feel like that defeats the purpose of using a lipstain.

I just rub off the outside a little after I apply it.

Maybe your lips are dryer out there so the color stains more? I would try exfoliating and using a lip balm before applying the stain. Stains are usually pretty drying from my understanding.

I've tried it and didnt like it at all. It rubs off and only stains in spots and around the outside like you said and the Chapstick end on the end of mine broke off.

Unfortunately it really isn't the best lip stain. I usually put a bit of the balm on and then use the stain mostly on the inner part of my lips then rub them together a little and it looks really cute :)

I don't like lipstains for that reason. I've tried about 3 different ones including Revlon and they all were very uneven after an hour or so, not to mention how dry and cracked my lips looked and felt!
