After I do my foundation I put on a powder to set it. If I don't I get waaay too oily. Every powder I've tried has made my makeup look cakey and gross by an hour or two later. Any suggestions on powders that won't do so?

You need to use toner or cold water to close your pores.
If you have dry skin then I suggest you stay away from Powders in general if you have dry skin and use setting sprays instead.
