Don't feel pressured in doing something you are unsure about. If its something that you have been wanting to do than go for it!

I need to see a picture of your hair to see why she keeps asking you that. Its up to you though. It can be damaging to your hair.

I have done it many times before years ago and I recommend that you do not.

To begin with
Handful of hair will fall out! It's disgusting.

It'll make your hair look really burnt. It took me about a year to fully repair my hair.

I highly do not recommend it! It leaves your hair very brittle and makes it more prone to frizziness!

You are better off deep conditioning your hair and learning how to take care of it.
It's one of those temporary, expensive fixes that will not do you any good. I have very curly ethnic hair so trust me if anyone here has suffered with their hair, trust me I take the damn award for it!

NO. DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT GET A PERM NOO. YOUR HAIR WILL DIE DIE.

Sorry but I've had relaxers all my childhood and I had cut all my hair off and grew it naturally its so much healthier and strong and long. Chemicals are bad do NOT NOT perm it. Itll kill it all.

If you want it straightened though I suggest a nonpermenant solution like the keratin treatment or just pressed out. NO CHEMICALS

Don't get the keratin or you will really chop off your hair. It kills your ends horribly and is a big cancer causer. I know that sounds funny but after doing it I started to suffer from migraines.

Ask your stylist about anti frizz treatments don't damage hair. There are many based off of chocolate, avacados, etc.

If you want it yes if not no once you perm your hair when you want to go back natural your going to have to cut it out.

Do not be pressured into it,but if you do I use organic root stimulator no-lye normal have not had the tiniest bit of damage but I am wearing my hair out natural and there are so many other options to get results that realxers give.

I really depise hairstylists who use pressure tactics on clients to do x,y and z to the hair. Especially when it involves chemicals such as a relaxer. Just another ploy to get more money out of you so you become addicted to the creamy crack (relaxer). I wouldn't mess even mess with a Keratin treatment...I've seen too many horror stories of that one to support it. If you must wear it straight get yourself a high quality heat protector product (something that is cream based so it really coat your hair for blowdry/and flat iron). And make sure you make conditioners and hair masks priority in your haircare regime.

If you don't want to get one, don't get it. Hair stylists will always try to sell you stuff. If you want your hair to look smoother just get products with keratin in them instead of the full treatment. I recommend cocoa keratin shampoo/conditioner, it's healthier and makes your hair look fab.
