I got a travel set from sigma and I will be honest I expected more. The set cost $40 as I just wanted to try them. They shed like crazy! The handles on mine were dry rot - which means the wooden part was chipping off. They are not like Mac brushes - they are ok. I found them a bit scratchy also. Not soft at all. I don't know if I got a bad set but I will not be re-purchasing any others. I've tried tons of brushes and I must say the softest and most impressive and multi purpose brushes were Real techniques brushes by Samantha Chapman. Hope this helped.
