Tips on eye liner? Please help!!

I just started wearing makeup and I need help with cat eye eye liner. Any tips? Post pics and video links!!

With elfs liquid eyeliner I draw a thick straight line across my upper eyelid. Then I take an angled brush and go over the line and bring it out a little. Using my eyeliner I draw a thick line on half of my bottom lid. With the angled brush I go over that and connect it to my mini wing coming from the top.
