Clarisonic mia. The Mia does 300 oscillations per second...can your hands do that? It's too much for some people's skin, but I wouldn't trade mine for anything. Leaves skin soft, drastically reduced my acne and my face is no longer completely covered in blackheads

Thank you so much ladies :) Yeah I'm definitely looking for something more than just my hands especially to help with my mild acne and large pores.

The clarisonic and olay are not the same the olay brush is a spinning brush an the clarisonic is sonic ,it cleanses way deeper than just a spinning brush

Clarisonic mia 2 for sure.
olay prox is a great alternative but if you can afford the clarisonic I'd go with that. I used the prox for a few months and it got the job done because it is much better than using your hands alone. but if you have acne then the clarisonic would be best just make sure to get the brush made for acne because it is the most gentle one out there (more than the gentle and sensitive brushes from what I read).
I've used the clarisonic for over a year and a half and it has helped draw out clogged pores and my pores are sooo much smaller. I have to be honest I never had problems with my pores but I noticed the ones on my cheeks and nose and now I have to get upclose and personal with myself in the mirror to actually see them lol. it's amazing. my overall skin tone is brighter and products absorb better than before. youll notice how much dirt and makeup that your hands wasnt able to completely remove.
you may go through a purging phase if you have clogged pores. by using the clarisonic youre gently exfoliating your skin and bringing up any impurities underneath the skin. the purging phase doesn't last long and it's worth it to reveal smoother skin underneath. do I still get breakouts? of course. It's not a miracle product and most acne is hormonal. but it does help prevent and clear some breakouts. overall I'm really happy with it :) I love my clarisonic and I refuse to wash my face without it!

One thing I forgot to mention is that I have oily to combo skin and the clarisonic has helped out A LOT by balancing out my skin. my skin still gets a little oily throughout the day but definitely not like before. the clarisonic has made a drastic difference as far as oil production goes but I've read great things for every skin type.

Yay I just wanted to go over the basics. hope it works for you!
one more thing lol!! I don't know if youve read about this but before I got mine I read that a lot of people tend to press too hard against their skin when they first start using the clarisonic and this can irritate and worsen your skin. you have to let the clarisonic do the work for you. all you have to do is lightly move it around on your face in a circular motion. you don't want to apply too much pressure against your skin. I was glad I read about that first cuz knowing me I can be a little rough with my skin. I used to scrub really hard when I would use exfoliating scrubs but now I've learned to be gentle with my skin!

None of the things people are suggesting are the same as the Clarisonic and I'm not saying that to be rude or mean. The brush heads are very soft and gentle (unless of course you get the deep pore cleansing one) and the whole point of the Clarisonic is that it uses sonic vibrations to vibrate the dirt, makeup and oil out of your pores. A regular face brush may give you some exfoliation but it isn't going to do anything below the surface other than maybe give you micro lacerations if its not soft enough, which is not good!!
All that being said; I love my Clarisonic (I have the Mia 2) and I can't believe I didn't know about it sooner. You can definitely feel the difference after the very first use. My skin no longer feels clean enough after just using my hands. I've noticed less breakouts and breakouts I do get are easier to get rid of. My skin is much cleaner and healthier. I never realized how much stuff I WASN't getting out of my pores. I would wash my face and then use a toner and it would come away with makeup still on it even after a thorough washing. That doesn't happen with my Clarisonic. It also helps your serums, moisturizers, treatments, etc.absorb into the skin better. I definitely recommend it!!

Just ordered my 2nd clarisonic, had a good run for about 5 years with my first one till it died. They are fabulous products. Prices are a little high but I swear you them. I got the plus, which is similar to the original I used to have. Can't wait for it to arrive, been in withdrawal for too many weeks now.

My siblings and I all have Mia 2's and love them. The main difference with the brushes is that the Mia oscillates, and the Olay spins, and the pulling movement isn't great for your skin. Clarisonic also has really good customer service! My brother's first unit died a week into use, and they overnighted a brand new one! It's worth the investment.

I would start with the olay because you will get to see how your skin reacts to a spinning brush. I have the olay one and it works great. I don't use it everyday because I just don't think it is good for your skin everyday to use those brushes. I like it for bringing stuff to the surfaces and deep cleaning. Otherwise I wash my face insanely gentle.

I ordered the clarisonic mia 2 from sephora... I'm just waiting for it to arrive from america ( I live in canada). I'm so so so excited. I will let you ladies know my initial review when I get it :)

Trish K I heard is really good but it is even more expensive that the clarisonic. Reviews say its even more gentle than clarisonic; so if you have extremely sensitive skin and can afford it... its up to you babe.
