Lip wax gone wrong.

Got my lip waxed for the first time at my salon. Broke out in red irritated bumps all over my top lip. Any way to avoid this or is this normal? Also any suggestions to clear this mess up.

For the first few times it is possible to see some irritation and bumps. It could also be from the wax being hotter than a normal temperature. Put ice on it and it will go away

You might try an after wax lotion which cool the skin and relieve redness. You can get it at Sally's or ulta.

After I wax I use a cooling gel that keeps the irritation down did they use one on you?
