And does anyone know a technique to stop that?

Yes mine do sometimes but I think it's just a pain that you get used to because when I first started plucking my eyes would water but now I'm learning to deal with the pain and it's nothing now anyway try putting some ice on your eyebrow before plucking it will numb it a bit!

Take a hot shower to lose up the hair, then ice your brows before plucking to numb them

You can put moisturizer on your eyebrows and it will take away the pain almost completely :) you do get used to the pain, though!

Try to pull your skin tight when plucking.

The reason it will hurt is because your not stretching if you've ever had waxing you will see the beautician stretch the area so the area is taught therefore no tugging on the skin

I agree with the others, ice is definitely the way to go for starting out, but the more often you do it, the easier and less painful it will be!

I wouldnt put lotion on as it makes the hairs very hard to grab because they are slidy! pull the skin tight or put a flannel in warm water and just pat it against your eyebrows to losen the hair:)

No, moisturizer doesn't make them hard to get at all. I did that when I first started plucking :)

Grin and bear it. I find ice only makes my eyebrows more sensitive. I've been plucking my brows for 8 years now I barely feel a thing. You have to suffer for beauty!

Pain killers are not necessary. Just try to pluck it quickly and get through the pain; you will eventually get used to it.
