I have a pimple but its not really puffy or anything it's just like a red mark with a teeny tiny tiny bump. I wanna use toothpaste to make it go away but should I even bother since its just like the red-ness that makes it stand out. Also, any other suggestions to get rid of the pimple thing?? Thanks!!

Use the toothpaste, wouldn't hurt to try. Oatmeal mask are for those sort of things as well.

You can mix Aspirin with water to make a paste to reduce inflammation and redness.

Toothpaste can actually irritate it. Yes, it dries it out but it can irritate it as well. I recommend either Clean and Clear Persa Gel, Queen Helene Mint Julep mask, or a sulfur mask from Walgreens to use as a spot treatment on it before bed. Just leave it alone until you get a hold of one of the products I listed. You don't wanna make it worse!

Use a cube of ice & a spot treatment with benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid.
Jacqueline's answer is on point, when I tried it actually burned my face and my pimples became worse and stuck around for so much longer.

Do not use tooth paste it isn't formulated the sane as it was when it was used for that before. Some tooth pastes can cause a chemical burn to the skin if its left on for a long time.

Alone with what the others said keep putting lotion on it before you go to bed. It really helps and makes your skin better by morning.

I would not use toothpaste on my face. It is meant to clean teeth. Seems like it would burn since it burns the corners of my mouth.

It really annoys me when people recommend toothpaste on acne threads because it doesn't work! Salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide do! I recommend benzoyl peroxide, because it kills bacteria. If you have like literally no time, try honey on it for like 20 minutes.

Toothpaste always works for me, so it depends on your brand. I use Zendium. Don't know if it's available in your country...

Toothpaste has always been my go to thing when I get pimples, it works amazing when I have big pimples and I leave the toothpaste on overnight and then take it off in the morning and it helps to dry it up and reduce the redness overnight

Right now I gathered you got enough info that it doesn't work and it's true, but this is why it No longer has the ingredients in it that use to work to take away acne and it doesn't matter the brand of toothpaste because none carry the ingredient in it at all so it would be pointless to try unless you want fluoride burns on your skin.now Visine on red acne is only temporarily fix to fade the redness but does not help get rid of acne. ;-)
