My natural shade is a dark blonde. I recently dyed my hair burgundy with a semi permanent dye. I liked it for a few days but it isn't me anymore. I know from recent experinces with dark dyes that in order to get it back to my natural color, I need salon help. That is NOT an option right now. I just moved and don't have the money to be paying almost $300.00 to have it fixed.
My plan: use color oops, expect it to turn orange but then add an ash blonde to HOPEFULLY get it to a decent color, rather than having carrot top locks. HALLLPPP

Your plan seem like the best choice. Good luck.

Try washing it with a clarifying shampoo to remove a lot of the red first. And don't forget a good deep conditioner in a couple days, don't use it immediately because it will cause the fresh dye to slip out of your hair shafts. Good luck!

Your right more than likely your hair will turn orange however you put a burgundy over your har so its possible that your hair might pull a lot of red! That sounds like a good idea personally I just use a darker all over color because going lighter is a option for you unless however your plan is successful good luck to you:)
