I don't think it makes them grow, but it helps nourish the eyelashes. I do it on my lashes. :)

I've heard that it does help. the Vaseline is supposed to protect the eyelashes and keep them moisturized I think.

No, not penetrated it remains on the surface and I when I use it to dye eyelashes and eyebrows not to stain the skin that Vaseline is made from petroleum-based.

Yes Vaseline lengthens/strengthens lashes but it's dangerous for the eye and is very veryy bad if any gets into your eye.
Try coconut oil to strengthen them and castor oil to lengthen. I'm using both and it works amazingly!

I know pe ople who use vaseline in their eyelashes to make them longer so they can apply mascara better. I haven't tested this but they seem to find it alright!

Yes! It's really good to make your eyelashes thicker. I heard it also help to strengthen the eyelashes. And I put it on my brows too! Cause I accidentally over plucked one if my brows. I do this before going to bed :)

Vaseline will NOT help your lashes grow and it will not make them thicker it also does NOT help nourish the lashes it's petroleum based meaning the lashes won't absorb the Vaseline therefor it has no benefit. Not to mention how dangerous it is to put barrier creams near your eyes. Every time I hear of people doing this I cringe.

I picture someone's eyes sticking together when I see this sort of stuff ahaha. But on a more serious note, buy some '1000hour' dye. It's specifically for eyelashes and brows. I use it and it makes your eyelashes AMAZING! Looks like your wearing mascara all the time and lasts roughly one month. In Australia a box is roughly $20 but you only need a bit so it lasts a long time. Worth a shot, and your eyes don't go all sticky haha.

Right! I have wrote about this a few times now, Vaseline does NOT help ANYTHING grow. when it's always said it does in different articles and advise it infuriates me that people put out unmined, false info! What else are we reading that they are just making up?! Vaseline is only petroleum, no lasting benefits.

Vaseline nourishes the lashes, you may think it grew but really it just looks healthier and fuller.
