Good first attempt. I do my own nails at home due to enjoyment to do them and I have little money. I just bought my first dotting tool thru AVON ($2). Prior I used the round ends of a bobby pin, tiny dots with a toothpick, and put a sewing pin with round end into the eraser of an old pencil. That way I could make perfectly round dots. Using the polish brush is hard to make round dots. Try that next and post us the picture.
