So like, my hair is pretty much dead and it's to the point of falling out in handfuls and I don't know what to do. :(

If you're losing that much hair all at once I would ask your doctor...

Try eating healthier and drinking more water or if you aren't eating enough it could be a deficiency. Regardless though you should see a doc.

Stop bleaching/dying it. Don't use heat. Start deep conditioning. If your diet is bad you might need more biotin. Basically just let your hair rest and recover and don't damage the new growth.

Don't dye it and start taking care with hair masks and oil treatments to nourish your hair and help with damage. Search some up or you could buy some hair masks and oils from your local drugstore but I recommend homemade products because they don't have chemicals in them! Also wash your hair less and stay away from dyes and heat for a while!

Cut off all the dry hair and stop bleaching, using hot tools, and deep condition more

Well your hair is already dead in a sense haha. But I have thin hair so I tend to lose hair so what's really been helping is I've switched to sulfate free shampoo and that seemed to do the trick a lot I follow up with a really moisturizing condtitioner and put in leave in conditioner as well as some argan oil! and also just put in some hair masks or make some yourself! I do the olive oil and honey one a lot! Coconut oil by itself is amazing as well! and as for everything else don't put heat on your hair like at all! lock all your hot tools away for a few months! and drink plently of water and take some biotin! It helps with hair growth a lot!! hope I helped!!
