Thanks everyone, I still can't understand why I can't get the smokey aspect of it. I used a lot of black on the outer v but you still can't really see it. do I need black on the inner corner too?

Hi Audra, nice colors. As for a smokey eye usually its an all around color to your eye like black, plum, brown ect but must be dark hence smoke so its really An easy eye technique but always missunderstood technique. Its dark from your lid corner to corner then work your way up fading it to light. Its a dramatic eye shadow look and their is no V technique, had you added black fading into the green above pass the crease that could work.just remember its blended and faded dark to light opposite technique from regular standard shadow looks.I hope this helps you. :-)

For some reason the black didnt show up on this photo but I did use it, a lot actually. ill post another pic and tell me what you think. As for blending from dark to light, that makes so much sense. I was still goin from light to dark so that helps a ton! Thank so much for the info!

Lol the color did change Audra, you would need to bring the black further in to the lid you know how you did the outer part its darker so do the same at mid lid too :-)
