At Which Age Is Recommended Start With Prevention Of The Age Marks?

I am about to turn 20 and don't know if I should start using a preventive cream for wrinkles and age marks, should I?

I've just turned 20 myself(I know.. I still look like a teenager >.<) And I haven't even given it a thought. But I do know that some products are formulated to fight aging depending on what age you actually are. Personally, I think at this age, you should focus mostly on using products with high SPF. Sun damage really ages skin. You won't have to worry about wrinkles for a while, so rather than worrying over it, I think you should enjoy it!

I would start at 25 to prevent them my cousin started when she was about 25 and know she's 37 and has no lines!

I definitely agree with Shyla, just focus on SPF now! I'm turning 22, and was thinking the same thing as you were - then I realized I should probably get my acne under control before completely switching to an anti aging regime. Although, my mom started using Olay products at the age of 20, she just recently turned 50 and doesn't look a day over 40!

Doesn't matter how old you are--just echoing what people have already said--focus on protecting your skin from the sun. Sun damage can seriously age you, any dermatologist will tell you that. Always, always wear face lotion with SPF, hats, sunglasses, etc. Do well to moisturise, stay hydrated and eat food that will nourish your skin. These are preventative measures you can start at any age.

:D thank you I will focus on that, and enjoy, and you are really right sun damages a lot if we don't protect our skin, and decided to keep using my moisturizer with SPF and that controls break outs :)

Sunscreen hands down will slow down the aging process big time. I started using sunscreen in junior high. This was before refined formulas were out so I had to wait an hour for it set to avoid that ugly white tinge to my skin. Sunscreen from head-to-toe. Whatever anti-aging product you decide to use I highly suggest that you choose something that is suitable for your skin type. A lot are geared to dry skin, I wish these companies would take into consideration that not all aging skin is dry and dehydrated.

The recommended age to start anti-aging skincare is actually 25. On average, women's skin start declining around 25 so that's a good age. You shouldn't start too early. Diet and prevention are much better!

To be honest, I think anti ageing skin care is a bit of a scam ;) As people have said, just use sun screen, products suited to your skin type and drink plenty of water!

i am 34 and i swear by sunscreen and tons of water, a good moisturizer at night on hands, neck and face. i started around 27 pretty religiously. i agree i think some of the aging stuff is a bit of a scam. i think sweating it out at the gym helps too!
