How's my Fishtail Braid?

I want some feedback on how my fishtail braid is. I know I make the overlapping strands very thick because I have VERY think hair and doing tiny strands would take FOREVER. I would just like some tips on how to make it better. Thnx

Thank you! I've been trying to practice. But my hair is really hard to maintain. Lol I can only do the fishtail braid when my hair is wet.
