I've tried just plaiting my hair but when I take it out in the morning its just really poofy! Does anyone know how to make my hair have like beach waves??

Have you tried plaiting while the hair is still a little damp? Also do you brush it when you take it out? Brushing usually makes my hair go poofy, I usually just run through my hair gently with my fingers.

Yeah I've tried plaiting my hair when its wet and I don't brush it. Do you know another way of making my hair wavy?

Make sure it is wet, because then your hair dries in the way it is done! When I have braided my hair the night before generally the top layer is a tad fluffy, so I just use a curler on a few sections just to get it back in place! But make sure when curling not to clamp it and roll! Hold the curler down and wrap the hair around the barrel! It ends up wavy! Hope this helps xx

Umm I'm not really sure but maybe make it into a messy bun and leave it for a while :)
