It's just good, natural soap that helps with skin, hair, and acne, as do most natural soaps. I prefer Chagrin Valley, but that's just me.

African black soap is an all-round miracle cleanser. You can use it on your skin and also in your hair. You can use it as a gentle cleanser in your hair, because it doesn't contain sodium lauryl sulfate, which is something found in a lot of shampoos, that strips your hair of its natural oils. It can also be used to treat and prevent dandruff. Another thing is using it as a skin cleanser, and I think this is what it's most highly known for. The soap has antibacterial properties in it that aid in the prevention of acne and blemishes. It penetrates the skin (not harmfully, like with harsh scrubs), and pulls out impurities embedded in the skin. It doesn't remove existing acne, but it does help to prevent excessive oil production, and helps to stop bacterial growth from developing on the skin.
It also prevents signs of aging, and as a makeup remover. It can be used for sensitive skin, because it contains vitamin E, which heals and protects the skin. Hope I helped:)
