I have already dyed my hair dark auburn but my hair was a little to dark to show the color. I was thinking of dying my hair a little lighter so the color can be seen a little more, should I?

To go lighter, you'd have to bleach it. You can't dye over dark hair to make it lighter. Dark hair can only go lighter if it's virgin hair (never been colored before).

You can't "dye" your hair lighter. You would have to use a lightener with developer which damages the hair. If you just lightened your hair in the past few weeks I would wait awhile to do it again or you'll regret. Also, make sure to trim the split ends off after you lighten or dye your hair or else they keep climbing up the hair shaft and become worse.

Well when I dyed my hair it was virgin. But I guess it didn't go so light since it was dark auburn but thanks.
