MAC Shadowy Lady, you should get a lot of use from this shadow. I use it in my crease, sometimes all-over lid, and even in my brows.

All of the matte^2 shadows! They're super soft, and open up your collection to a plethora of new looks! =]

From MAC, I would add: Wedge, Vanilla, Naked Lunch, Era, Handwritten, Sketch, Graphology, Brun, Embark, Mulch, Espresso, Charcoal Brown, Swiss Chocolate, Cork, Woodwinked and Cork :) Good basic colors, browns and natural tones are a great start. They can be used in so many ways, as eye shadow, liner, for brows, etc. I would also invest in some Kryolan products, because they have a huge range of colors mainly makeup artists would need.

I think you've started off great. A first palette that you'll be using on clients should have a mixture of: textures/finishes, darks, neutrals, and brights. Try not too get too many shades that are similar (the same hue family) because it will just be a waste of space right now and I've never seen any use for having more than 2 creams (or which ever color) 2-3 shades apart in my kit.

I would definitely try out a coastal scents or NYX palette. I've had great success with both. Especially if I use an eyeshadow base like UDPP or a good cream concealer!

Im sorry I didnt fully read the first time. Nudes, creams , peaches, browns, blues, purples, greens, but not so much color because most people dont wear bright makeup on the regular, they prefer natural looks. but you also want to have colors in there because they are useful if you want to make someones eyes pop. hope this was helpful

u definitely need MAC's saddle, tete-a-tint, rice paper, which are great brow bone highlights and crease color I love deep truth for a navy blue smokey eye and skecth and beauty marked, and cranberry for those deep plums I love those really irredescent colors too like motif, expensive pink and trax (although not a neccesity to have just really pretty) and also NYX colors are great and so are their pigments and another line u may or may not have heard of just because its synonmous with theatre and clown make up is Ben Nye they have great really really prigmented shadows and they are inexpensive as well and also makeup geek she has a line of shadow and pallettes that are great and inexpensive as well hope this helps :-)

oh yeah I forgot the pigment Naked as well its amazing as a brow bone highlight or as a lid color and yes def must have the naked pallette also I def use that almost every job for something eith as highlight or as crease or something and yes get a colorful pallette too because u can always add a yellow or a bright blue and then tone it down with a neutral toned color

My go to colors on a day when I'm running late are Naked (MAC pigment), Sketch (MAC), and French Cuff (MAC). I also own all of the Coastal Scents 88 palettes and think they are a great investment. :)
