If you want to try it by all means do it. Start small and do your tips first. That way if you don't like it you can trim it. The only thing about it is its really popular, so your beauty individuality won't stand out as much.

Do a subtle ombre not too high up, make sure it's graduated, and get subtle highlights around your hairline, but only an inch along the part, don't have them start at the root. Atleast that's what I'm going to do in a few days, but my hair is much darker, you'll be able to pull it off even better.
