I would really love a henna tattoo for summer but I don't know anything about it. Is it easy to do at home or is it better to go get it done? What are the pros and cons of the different types of ink? Thanks ladies!

Get it done, some cost like 40 dollars & they don't last long at all. Pro you can get one & tan A LOT & it'll make it as a tan mark which is cool

Be very careful about using only natural henna paste, not henna containing additional dyes or chemicals. Things marketed as "black henna" or colored henna contain chemicals that can cause violent skin reactions and permanent scarring. Natural henna leaves a brown or reddish design on the skin or nails that will last a couple of weeks. It is applied as a green paste, which dries and flakes off, leaving the stained "tattoo".

Natural henna smells really good. be sure nt to fall in for the chemical ones they can cause skin allergies. try an Indian store. buy d powder and mix with se water and a few drops of eucalyptus oil for best results keep the paste over night n apply the next day. let the henna dry and fall pff naturally. dnt wash your hand for the next 12-15 hours, you will get a nice deep maroon colour :)

Henna is awesome! Except it only lasts a few weeks before it wears off. You can get henna at the natural food place by my house, try a natural place by you! Just make sure its not black henna & you will be fine!

Oh, and make sure you look up the recipe... I believe I mixed it with back tea and eucalyptus oil, & used a lemon juice/sugar water mixture on it after it was applied. My henna lasted upwards of 2 months one time!

Do it at home. They have henna kits at micheals.
