See this is my blue hair it lasted me a long time but what you can do is but blue hair die in your conditioner bottle. so when you wash your hair your still adding color to your hair. so it stays. longer and try not washing your hair everyday.

Wash your hair in cold water and use sulfate free shampoo.

With my blue hair, it's lightened to pale yellow (white is impossible for my hair) and I use pravana. However, sallys ion color line has a blue that might work (I don't have any experience using it though).

And like Lourdes mentioned, I touch mine up about 4 weeks or so after my touch up in the shower by mixing a small amount of color with my conditioner. It's great for refreshing the blue and making it pop again :-)
