Well I'd say just put more mascara on your eyes and make your eyes pop out more so that it will draw more attention to your eyes.

I hate smiling in pics with mind too! I'm getting over it though. For awhile I'd leave my lips very neutral and just do a bold eye like linzee was saying to draw attention away from them!

I think if a person has braces they AUTOMATICALLY look better. Braces are so cute to me seriously, I've always wanted braces. I'm jealous.

Another thing to draw eyes away from the braces is to not wear shiny lip gloss. The shine from the gloss plus the shine from the braces can be distracting. But just remember, braces are temporary and when they are off, your smile will be gorgeous!

I always do a goofy face when I'm told to smile. :)
But with taking selfies, try positioning the camera father away from you face, so the focus isn't entirely on you. :3
I agree with you though; I feel like a shark when I smile with my braces. But it's something I've grown to love. :)

I know they hurt and you think they look bad, but it's worth it, really. I promise people don't focus on them as much as you yourself will. We're our own harshest critics. I thought I looked dorky with them, but my smile is great now because of them!

I know how you feel! Smiling with your mouth closed with braces just doesn't work. To look better... Sorry but you just have to get used to them. Trust me you will!

I am fine smiling and showing my braces in pics but my best friend just got hers off so when I smile next to her it makes my teeth look bad lol amd I have had them for like 8 months so they aren't new :-)
