Question about foundation and undertones!

Hey! I recently went to a Revlon counter to see if I could get matched up to a foundation colour. The lady put on Sand Beige for me and said the pink undertones will neutralise my yellow undertones, or something to that affect.
That weekend, I brought this new foundation with me to get my make up trials done for my wedding and the artist told me the foundation was too pink for me and that I should never change my undertones. She told me to return the foundation and find one with yellow undertones instead. She said my MAC concealer was the perfect colour and to get one like that instead.
So my question is, should I stick with the pinkish foundation? Or find a yellowish one?

If your undertone is warm then stick to a warm foundation...pink will make you look grey...
