That is a gorgeous color and depends the color your using it normally stays for a few weeks before it starts to fade and yes there is semi permanent color and depending how dark your hair is or how long it's been since its been previously been dyed the color will stay

I have lilac hair at the moment and loved the colour of the last picture but it is hard to maintain as is any other unnatural haircolour but if you want it enough its worth it. You'll have to pre-lighten your hair to at least a pale orange/yellow colour but if your hair is healthy it should only take one bleach.

And yes, these purple colour would be semi permanent.

@adriana. Ans how long do you think the color will stay before it fades? @shaye. Will it work if I have highlights? Because I'm going to my hairstylist in a week and I know I wanted some caramel highlights in my brown hair and then maybe use manic panic cause I don't want it to be permanent, more like for a week just for fun! What would you recommend me?

Purple has been my go to colour for many years now haha I use a hair fudge which lasts me about 2-3 weeks before re dying it. I think a darker purple would suit your hair colour if you want a bright purple like the pictures above you will have to lighten it a fair bit to at least a light orange colour before dying other wise you can use a semi permanent box colour which won't be as light but will give a very nice deep purple which I think would suit you better than a bright one a box colour will last longer than a fudge like manic panic and it deffinately has less upkeep and you don't have to lighten your hair :) I say go with a box colour :)

Wash your hair in hot water and this color will fade quickly.

@shantele. I never this any box color but if I tell my hairstylist that I want some purple that will go away you think she will find a way? @amelia. Hot water, only for the manic panic or wtv coloration?

Hot water for manic panic, manic panic and special effects won't do any actual damage to your hair. they're just stains

@amelia. Yea thats why I tought about it because I really don't want to damage my hair for a color that I am not so sure yet :s but how does manic panic work you just put it all over your hair? And then wash it with hot water to make it go

@shaye. Does fudge is the same as manic panic? Do you have a picture so it would be easier for me to Look for it please?

@Shaye I use paintbox but I have the blueberry hill one.
@Lydia I've even used permanent dyes that wash out but any dye that a salon uses will wash out a box dye is the dye kits that come in boxes with everything you need and you can either have semi permanent or permanent tell your hairdresser that you want a semi permanent solution and depending on whether she uses fudge like the picture shaye put up or a semi permenant dye both will wash out quickly but as I said a box dye will change your hair colour without bleach so you will overall have less damage from the bleaching process and less maintenance. the only bad thing is that your hair won't be as bright a purple as the colour in the pictures you wanted. also the second picture looks like it was boxed dyed.

I love the color on the 2 picture you posted!! if you want a semi permanent color it would be less vibrant and a bit less visible than a regular dye. to get a pretty and bright purple you will need to bleach your hair which will probably damage it a bit although it is manageble and not as bad as you imagine :) just decide what you want and work out the details with a good hair stylist. good luck!
