How do you clean beauty blenders?

I recently bought beauty blenders which are foundation appliers. They work very well but the foundation always gets on them. I tried putting it in water but it just made them expand.

You should use baby shampoo to clean them:)

I start vids by wetting them and then I put dove soap on the dirty areas and I lather it for about 2 minutes then I rinse it out and its squeaky clean!

I use shampoo and face wash to clean the dirty areas after it's soaking wet:)

I just had a workshop with the beauty blender company and they said the average beauty blender lasts 6-9 months depending how often you use it but only if you use their cleanser.

They said other cleansers clean it but diminish the shelf life and texture of it
