Benefit'a Famous "They're Real" Mascara.

So the benefit "they're real" mascara is quite well known & I recently got a sample size version from sephora for my birthday & I've heard that it's basically waterproof and can be difficult to remove, but does it hold curl well? my lashes literally grow downwards, so I really need a mascara to hold curl.. if you've tried it with curling your lashes let me know how the curl lasts! thanks <3.

It holds up a curl very well:) but not waterproof but removes like one.

I dislike this mascara. It dried up in about 3 weeks and didnt deliver amazing results despite all the hype. In regard to your question I didnt feel it did, it went flat very quickly.And yes it is a nightmare to remove. I think different mascaras vary in perfomance from person to person and loads of people love this one. Good luck.

That's so cool, I got a sample for my birthday too! Anyways I think it holds a curl very well! I slept in mine (I know that's bad) and the next morning my lashes were still curled

I agree with Toribeth as well. I was very excited when I bought it because it gets soooo many good reviews but it made my lashes look terrible. It dried out very quickly and my lashes looked weird. I definitely won't be buying it again but luckily you have a sample size to try it out first.

I like it, but don't pile it on and buy the sample size! It's 10$ and a bit goes a long way! ( 10$ at Sephora for sample size )
