So I just learned how to the smokey eye and I suck.:'( any suggestions…?

Try it with browns/grays when first starting out, rather than super dramatic, dark colours than can tend to get messy. & of course, as Mookey says: practice :)

Lisa Eldrige actually has a fantastic, yet simple tutorial for a smokey eye. I believe it's called: Classic Smokey Eye
