I would say just try to put everything in place after you use it if you can't the next day and each month clean all your space from bottom to top that way you can rearrange your fav things on top also you don't forget what you have and throw or giveaway the things you don't want.

Also I love to get small cute boxes that I can decorate and put makeup or other thing depending on the size and it looks cute!! That way I put things back so it won't cover the decoration.
