Ive tryed threading ONCE. I did not like it. It feels just like plucking, and the lady actually skinned my eye brow so I had a few scabs when they healed. Also she cut them way short so I looked like a weirdo and had to color in on the iner corner of one for a while. I looked all sorts of crazy. I wouldnt recomend it. they have no guide to go by.

Honestly i wold just go to a REAL profecional and get them waxed or plucked. Those ladys or guys that thread arnt really trained in how to shape eye brows. They are just given a quicky corse on how to thread not how to shape. so you may or may not come out with one eyebrow biger then the other

My experiences with threading have been wonderful I just think it depends on where you go. The lady that threads my eyebrows has done mine for a few years, it took time to find her and I am thankful I did. My experiences with waxing have been terrible, they made my eyebrows uneven and took way too much off! I had to let my eyebrows go for almost a year to fix the damage that was done. I think it just boils down to what you prefer, I have heard many good things about brow bars like the one in Ulta. They really know what to do with eyebrows there, my friend goes and has the most amazing thick eyebrows I have seen! I would just look around and decide from there.

Due to my skin being very sensitive from the acne topicals I use, THREADING it is for me.
I was loooong overdue, so I did waxing... BIG mistake, about 2 inches of my skin "ripped" off with the strip. The girl who waxed me was very very very sorry because she usually asks her clients if they use something on their face, but she didn't ask me cause she assumed I didnt.
So now it's stricly threading for me. If you're skin is not as sensitive, either or is good. But I do realize that if you go to someone who is an expert or has been doing it for a while, threading is not so bad. It feels like a quick nap... so to speak.

threading is what i do for a living :) i love it!! and i definitely learned how to shape.. in Oregon, you have to be a licensed esthetician for any type of hair removal. this is by far my favorite method!! will never go back to waxing. in fact, my coworkers and i trade off and i get my entire face threaded. the results are more accurate with threading. there is definitely a technique to it, some are better at it than others. go to someone who has been threading for a while, a year at minimum. it should last you 2-3 weeks depending on how fast your hair grows. 3 weeks for me :) hope that helps!

Threading is more painful, but it does last longer.
