Ok if you get a zit won't it be best to appliey makeup around it instead of clogging it even more all day I would say only appliey makeup on the zit if you really feel it is a huge deal to have one cause lets face it everone getszits or skin probs commet what you think.

If I manage to get one that is cystic (which is rare) then I avoid any type of face product. For everything else I just apply an acne spot treatment and wait a few moments before applying any face product. To avoid getting an outbreak period is making sure you're cleaning your brushes and aren't sharing products.

Try minimizing the amount of make-up you usually have on cause it causes break outs sometimes.. also make sure you wash your face with a good cleanser, moisturizer your face and try exfoliating once or twice a week and always sleep with a make-up free face.

I put a little bit of tea tree oil & cover with makeup. Makeup probably doesn't help the zit but, I don't care. I'd rather it up!
