Each to their own. I have tattoos and normally have different coloured hair (blue, pink, purple, red) never had any trouble before. I worked in a crèche for 5 years and my boss didn't bat an eyelid. Not did the kids. Also got a job at a preschool at the same time and they had no problems with me either.
I don't begrudge anyone their opinion or feelings toward them, however I agree in that if your not actually asked what you think of modifications keep it to yourself. That is true for all things in life though :)

6 piercings in my ear, 3 in the lobe, 3 helixes, nose piercing, a "hole" in my earlobe about 10mm now, and a tattoo on my wrist

At one point in my life I ha around 24 piercings and my ears stretched to 20mm! I have 15 now and no one ever guesses!

Life is about happiness, and if it makes you happy without disrupting the happiness of others it's completely okay! I love the way body mods look on other people but some just don't suit me as a person.

I don't like them all depending on the mod, but it is to each his or her own. As long as its not jeopardizing the persons health then go for it. Like the man with his whole body tattooed, I think he is extremely sexy. Like seriously, I can watch him smirk all day. I want a few tattoos myself and a couple of piercings, but that's about it.
