Since I was a little girl I've had to deal with dandruff and no matter what I did nothing seemed to help. Two weeks ago I started spraying diluted apple cider vinegar on my scalp and to my amazement it worked! Before I tried it I had pretty bad patches of red, scabby, itchy flakes on my hairline. The first night I used the treatment the redness had calmed down and it made me glad I saw some improvement! I knew it was going to take awhile for the dandruff to go completely away since it was so bad. I still have a few flakes, but no where as near as much as I used to!
For anyone dealing with dandruff and hasn't found anything that has helped try apple cider vinegar!
I used 1 cup of water and 1 cup of apple cider vinegar and poured it into a clean hair spray bottle. Part your hair into sections and spray the mixture onto your scalp. When your hair feels evenly damp tie your hair up and leave in for a minimum for 30 mins. then wash hair as normal (with a mild shampoo). The down side is that your hair will slightly smell like vinegar, but as your hair dries the smell goes away!
Another awesome thing about this mixture is that it helps remove hair styling product so there isn't too much build up on your scalp!
Hope this helps!!

My mother used to do that to my hair when I was younger, apparently apple cider vinegar will also make your hair soft and shiny. Vinegar is also good as a fabric softener when you do your washing, add some in during the final rinse :)
