So my hair is really straight and soft. I don't use a straightener or anything it's just naturally straight. Which is wonderful most of the time. But sometimes I want my hair to be curly. I have tried many different curling irons and hair sprays but no matter what I do, at the end of the day the curls fall out and I'm left with a mess. Any tips? Thanks :)

One of my friends once suggested curling your hair a day after your hairwash helps the curls stay longer.

Try using a much smaller curling iron then you would want the curls to be, (3/4") or so, that way when the girls begin to fall out they will become loose waves instead of just a mess.

Have you tried a curling wand? My hair is the same won't curl and my wand gives me perfect curls that last until I wash my hair and with touching it up.

I have the same hair type as you! Curling my hair is the worst, and I find the only thing that gets a curl is sleeping in rollers. You have to roll your hair really tight, so when the curl falls out it still has a nice curl. The curl never lasts the whole day, but the tighter the curl, the longer it will stay. It also helps to run mousse through the hair before curling and using hairspray while they're setting and after. Good luck :)

Hi, I'm a cosmetologist! Pin your curls to let them cool- and I mean until they're ice cold. Start curling from the root not the ends too.
