Hey guys
I'm planning on using a semi-permanent red dye in my hair. I don't care how long it stays in as much as I don't want it to fade bad (orangeish or something) before it's gone. So I was wondering which brand I should use?

Using clarifying shampoo will help.

Red hair dye fades pretty quick. Try using a shampoo for red hair to refresh your color. If you do that then it won't really matter what brand you use

I've been using Manic Panics Vampire Red over light brown hair and it fades to a gorgeous purply / brown rather than a brassy orange like some dyes. I like the way my hair looks faded more than right after its been dyed sometimes! 😂

Are you wanting like..true bright bright red? That clearly is not natural? Joico is the best one I've ever worked with. The fading has always been slow and not ugly colors.
