Best way? treat your brushes like hair! What would you usually wash your hair with? Generally shampoo and conditioner! Although there are other ways, like using washing detergent and extra virgin olive oil!

Any makeup store like Mac or sephora has daily cleansing sprays for makeup brushes. If you don't want to buy anything than just use warm water and dial soap.
