Hey guys. I was just wandering when contouring do you do it before or after your foundation? I find I contour den pt foundation over it an does nothing so I end up bronzing my cheek bones which works fine I just want to know how to do properly. Thanks n advance :)

If you do it before foundation, you're going to want to use a cream contour. And don't out foundation over it. If you do it after your foundation then you can contour and then powder everything into place.

I always contour after foundation. I use Mac's Blunt and a contour brush to do the hollows of cheeks and forehead. Hope this helps.

Bronzing an contouring are actually two separate things. Bronzing is giving that shimmery sun kissed look and you apply that after foundation. Contouring is applying a matte shade under your cheeks or on your hairline to reduce the look of a receding line and also in an M formation on your neck and under your jaw. A good trick to help contour your face is to sit a brush from your tragus to the corner of your lips then apply the matte shade just above the brush and only half way to your lips not all the way. Then blend well up to your temples. Sorry if this comes off confusing!
