Well..I recently started breaking out pretty badly and began using the soap about 2 weeks ago or so. I do see improvement, but I am still breaking out. I suppose I just have to be patient.
As for the with hazel, I know it works especially well with skin irritation because I use if I ever happen to have razor burn and I kid you not it's 80% better the next morning.
I personally think they would work well together, actually. The soap as a cleanser and the witch hazel as a toner after you've cleansed.
I know I didn't really which is better... Lol
I'm just not really sure if one works better than the other. They're both good, effective products.

I've never tried African Black Soap, but it does sound interesting. Personally, I love witch hazel. It's amazing and made a huge difference in the appearance of my skin. I noticed immediately that my skin felt more soft and looked more radiant. Plus, it takes a ton of gunk off of your face, and makes your skin SUPER clean. I always use it after washing my face as a toner, and it really improved my acne and scarring! I definitely recommend it.:)

I would say African Black Soap. It really has done wonders for my skin. I've been using it for 2 weeks with a cleansing brush and it's amazing.
