Okay so I have a few questions about revlon colorstay because I've heard it's great but I want to be sure it's right for me. Does it give full coverage? Is it suitable for combination skin? Will it cling to dry patches? What powder would you suggest setting it with? HELPP.

There's a few different ones, one for normal to dry, one for normal to oily and a whipped one. My personal favourite is the whipped one, its a med-full coverage. I like to set it with Rimmel stay matte but only on my t zone. I'm quite dry so I don't need it anywhere else. If the dry patches are really bad it'll show, much like with any foundation. But exfoliating and moisturizing well before applying will really help. Make sure you allow your moisturizer to sit for about 10min before you apply any make up for a smoother application.

It's medium to full coverage & comes in a combo/oily formula. Since I switch between that & Revlon's Nearly Naked I use the Nearly Naked powder to set it.

It is full coverage. They have 2 formulas: one for oily-combination skin, one for dry skin. If you have dryer skin, get the one made for dry skin so it doesn't cling to the dry patches. It does last quite a long time..if you're oily, you still may want to set it with a translucent powder only where you tend to get oily.
***warning: that foundation has a fragrance! It smells like paint and it lasts pretty much the entire time you wear it. That was unbearable to me and causes me to stop using it.
But I have a sensitive nose, so it may not bother you.
I also remember it definitely feeling like I had makeup on. It's not very lightweight.

The dry/combination one oxidizes horribly. The oily/combination one is good for combination skin. The cover is medium-full. Yes it does cling to dry patches but moisturizing beforehand will help with that. I would set it with rimmel stay matte powder. Works like a wonder together if you have oily skin. For drier skin, I would suggest not setting at all.

I set mine with a neutrogena skin clearing mineral powder which is a foundation for acne prone skin so that also helps control oil too. It's full coverage yet still looks natural. I love it. I don't think I'll try anything thing else it's my staple product.

I like the whipped much better than the liquid version!
