I have kept my hair dark- almost black for the past 6 years, now that I finally got it lightened closer to my natural colour I feel a bit unsure what to do for makeup. I usually go for bold looks, bright lash line or bright lips, it doesn't look the same with this hair colour though. What would you suggest for a look?

I think bright lips will still look good, but you can try eyeshadow that will compliment your eye color and bold black eyeliner and mascara. hope I helped.

Tip: Your makeup is not about your hair. Never. Makeup is about the features of the face. You can match levels or formality with the hair but that's it!
You are gorgeous! I would love to see you with a matte champagne lid, a midtoned brown crease with a deeper brown slightly taken on the outer V some highlight for the brow bones and inner corner with nude waterliner and that mid brown shafow on the lower lashline. tightline with black and curl your lashes before applying your favorite black mascara!
