My favorite are Ecotools and Real Techniques...lately I have seen some bamboo brush sets that are almost identical to the EcoTools brushes are T.J. Maxx that are arond $10! Also the E.l.f Studio brushes are pretty nice too.

Real Techniques are inexpensive? I can't believe I'm hearing this from girls who say that a MAC a lipstick by U$16,00 is expensive. Where I live the same lipsticks are R$66,00 (about U$33,00 - THAT's expensive - and this week MAC reduced their prices in Brazil, they were even MORE expensive - about R$80,00 or U$40,00). So I have a tendency to think that a lot of stuff you girls think it's expensive are not expensive at all. And yes, Real Techniques brushes are expensive. Elf is a great option.

Some people say that SIGMA brushes are overrated but I purchased mine (the essential kit) for $98 plus coupon code I added I think but it comes with 12 brushes and 1 free mini brush and all I have to say is thatim in love with them! I've had them for almost have a year and none of the brushes had shed. Some say the stippling brush sheds likes crazy but I haven't seen one hair fall out from mine. It's soft and quality I could say is very good for its price. Other than that I like elfs brushes however some that I've purchased like the studio contour brush I had to throw because the hairs fell out. Other than that the studio shadow and powder brush are the besttt. Hope I helped!

Tran, I agree with you! Sigma kits have the best cost-benefit ever. They are not the most inexpensive ones, but they have a very good quality and last a long time I taken care of (:
