Sooooo, I've got a question ladies and gents. When lining your lips do you go around the inner line or the outer portion of your lips? I attempted to follow this tutorial but I felt my lips looked a little funny. Like my lipstick was going out further out then it should have. :/

If you have thin lips, outline the outer shape of your lips. If they are full, on the other hand, line the inner shape.

I have MAC Prep+Prime, I use it primarily as a primer though, not much for helping line the lips.

But my lips are kinda in the middle, but more on the fuller side (I guess?), so I'll try the inner shape.

I normally put the primer on and wait until the rest of my face is done before applying anything else to my lips.

It depends on what effect you're trying to create. If you're just trying to keep your lip shape, line inside. If you're trying to create a fuller lip, line outside.
