Start by just washing it a bunch to get out as much dye as possible. Do a wash with a clarifying shampoo. Also wash your hair with hot water. Just basically do everything you shouldn't do if you want your dye to last and it'll fade out super fast.

If you don't mind spending a bit of money, my biggest recommendation would be a Redken Pre Art treatment, it will remove most if not all the color making it so you can re dye it the colors you wanted originally. If money is an issue or you can't get your hands on the PreArt, I'd say to go to your local ds and get the cheap bright green shampoo called Prell. It's a deep clarifying shampoo. Apply it to your hair all over when your hair is dry and let it sit on for 45 min, then get in the shower and rinse away the color! The key is saturating your hair with shampoo while your hair is dry! Hope this helps:)

Try using head and shoulders. I dyed my hair a darker brown and I HATED it. After using it for only a week my hair was back to light brown. clarifying shampoo is a good idea too.

Mix equal parts 20 vol developer, bleach powder and shampoo in a bowl. Put it on your head like shampoo. Lather it up and keep rubbing for a good 5 minutes. Rinse. Repeat if needed. It won't destroy your hair the way bleach will as long as you're careful
