About 2 months ago now I took my acrylics off, the not so good way of just ripping them off, and while my nails are growing back I know them even when they have grown out they break at certain points and its frustrating. So I decided to get the Gelish system for my nails to help them grow out and because I love to have a neat looking manicure at all times I figure this was the way to go. I tried Sensationail and I had to take it back because within 3 days my nails were chipping and I understand that they are extra soft right now but there was no way they polish should have just peeled off the way that it did. Has anyone had luck growing their nails using the at home Gelish system? My nails have grown a little and the application only came off of 2 nails in 2 wks time.

I use Gelish and love it but getting it not to peel can be tricky. There are a couple of tricks:
*Although it's a non-buffing system a little buffing never hurt anyone. It will help adherence so buff/file your nails first
*dehydrate the nail plate (I love cnd's scrub fresh) and use the ph bond
*don't put it on too thick or allow it to adhere to the cuticle

You should also make sure you get the "top it off" top coat on the tips of the nail. It seals it in.
