I've just really branched out and started wearing make up and now I want to wear lipstick. For some reason, I can't seem to find the right shade for my skin tone? What and how can find what works best for me?

I say darker tone lippies such as rubywoo or light brown as a nude stay away from pastel color lippies such as myth

I don't think there is such a thing as the right lip shade..it really is preference in my opinion ( except orange..I am really olive skinned so I feel like those clash) but pretty much its what you like!

I wear lip colors from the cool and warm families. To make some of them work I play around with various lip liner shades and glosses. I even warmed up MAC "myth" which is super pale and by itself on my lips looks a hot mess but once I add liner and a colored gloss it comes out nice. Its all about experimenting and being creative.
