She has good advice for fashion and things like that.
Go to YouTube and search BatcaveDilemma, SebastianColumbine, Kazlovesbats, and xSyntheticDoll. They all have fantastic looks and good tutorials :)

Don't do anything like that second picture posted, you'll attract nothing but ire and scorn. It's less real goth and more people trying to be goth. Why are you aiming for that style? Gothic charm school is the best, I agree, it tells you how to avoid the common 'costume' pratfalls.
